Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our team and enhance the overall security posture of the organization and maintain CloudMine's position as the most secure digital health platform in the market.You will have the opportunity to grow and drive CloudMine's security strategy, and help enforce and grow CloudMine's security program. This is a program that meets demanding compliance certifications (namely HIPAA-HITECH, HITRUST, SOC 2 and ISO 27001).
You will be responsible for:

Manage network penetration tests and vulnerability testing program. This will include ability to analyze, assess, and respond to various threats and vulnerabilities to the corporate assets.
Develop and implement solutions to streamline monitoring, alerting, compliance, reporting and incident management efforts.
Automate processes to better enhance development of applications, systems and contribute to CloudMine’s CI/CD pipeline.
Serve as a security expert in platform and application development, database and micro-services design. Providing guidance to project teams on the appropriate selection and implementation of security controls to comply with enterprise compliance and security policies.
Define and document security best practices
Participate in architecture security review. Analyze technology designs and develop data security controls and solutions.
The successful candidate will have 5 years of Cyber Security experience and expertise in the following technologies/areas:

DevSecOps mentality
Process automation and system integration
Security monitoring & analytics
Strong understanding of secure communication/storage methods
Cloud architecture experience
Experience with cloud native security compliance reporting tools is preferred (i.e. AlertLogic, SignalScience, Evident.io, Splunk, ELK)
Understanding of configuration orchestration tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible in regards to security hardening a plus
Privileged account/key management
Able to track and manage a large number of simultaneous activities, as well as cross-team dependent activities
Able to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
Involvement with 3rd party assessments/audits
Experience in regulated environments
Documenting controls and processes for audit
CISSP, CCSP, GIAC and other relevant certification preferred
As an employee of CloudMine, this position includes tasks and responsibilities that involve maintaining security of company assets, confidentiality of data and reliability of systems. All employees will receive and acknowledge security policies and handbook. All employees will receive training on security awareness, and other security procedures. Violation of security policy may result in disciplinary actions.

A member of technical staff is a key participant of CloudMine security processes. As a member of this team, your position will require signing a Privileged Access Agreement in accordance with rights and permissions that may be granted to CloudMine systems.
