UI/UX Designer at Propeller Health
San Francisco, CA, US
Many patients with chronic respiratory disease have forgotten what it’s like to not have trouble breathing. This role is an opportunity to craft thoughtful user experiences that help rewrite people’s day-to-day, make the disease experience different, and help people live life without the limits of their asthma or COPD.

Your designs will ensure our end-users are delighted with a masterfully thought out, and beautifully executed experience that touches the lives of tens of thousands of patients worldwide. We’re using technology to subtly (and, sometimes, not-so-subtly) inform people’s daily behaviors to help them stay on track and breathing easily; this is a monumental design feat. You’ll work on everything from new features and new products, to rethinking the existing interface from the ground up. You have to be organized, precise, and inspiring for the rest of the team to do well in this role. Think through every pixel, and step back to ensure your designs fit into the big picture. If this is you, it’s a match made in heaven!

We’ve created a unique technology that combines hardware sensors, mobile experiences and data analytics to digitally guide the course of therapy for patients and physicians, which have enormous social costs.

If you’re ready to pour your passion into something that directly improves people’s lives, we want to meet you.

Design Chops You’ll Need:

We care more about your skills, passion, and what you can produce, than we do about your degree. Some of our best teammates are self-taught. Show us your stuff!

This is a four-month contract-to-hire engagement. We’d like someone who can get the job done under contract, but we'd love someone who will reach beyond the contract role and grow with the company as we continue to expand and crush chronic respiratory disease.
